NetSuite Business Development Executive

Grow SquareWorks Customer Base and Build Long-Term Partnerships

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, positive, energetic and with a strong passion for sales to join our team and help us reach more customers across the US. This position is based in Boston’s Financial District and the person joining will have a direct impact on the company’s strategic goals, so we’re looking for a team player who is highly motivated by new challenges and a continuous learning environment.

Overview of Position

We’ll rely on you to:

  • own the prospecting process and identify new business opportunities
  • develop SquareWorks’ sales pipeline and maintain it according to the company’s goals. This includes working with the Marketing department on campaigns, cold-calling, networking and Emailing potential prospects
  • establish productive relationships with prospects by assessing their business needs, identifying the best possible path forward and establishing a strong business case for their needs
  • establish and refine a communication plan to effectively communicate the core values of SquareWorks Consulting and its suite of Products and Services, including the execution of presentations and/or product demonstrations.
  • work with the Marketing department on establishing and running SquareWorks’ marketing campaigns in order to generate inbound leads
  • track leads and opportunities timely and accurately in Salesforce.com
  • develop and execute strategies to effectively triage prospect inquiries and requests for information or demos
  • maintain and achieve a monthly and quarterly sales forecast

You’re the ideal fit if:

  • you have 2+ years of proven success selling Cloud/SaaS software and/or professional services
  • you have very comfortable and enjoy leading meetings and presenting to small or large audiences
  • you enjoy handling negotiation situations
  • you are extremely proficient in Excel, Outlook and the rest of the Microsoft suite of products
  • you are comfortable in the software industry, particularly in ERP or Business Applications, and want to be in similar environments
  • you have great attention to detail, are reliable, accurate, enthusiastic, energetic and positive
  • you take initiative with little direction; you aren’t afraid to speak up when you need clarification to execute your duties well and on-time
  • your former colleagues and peers say that you love a challenge, aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, bring new ideas to the table, and look at processes with a critical eye to figure out how to be more efficient or effective
  • you are highly responsive and naturally prioritize client needs and requests
