As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to take a moment to reflect on everything we have accomplished this year. From exciting announcements to reaching significant milestones and celebrating award wins, it’s been a year marked by growth, innovation and progress.

A Year of Milestones and Achievements

Major Announcements

This year, we were excited to roll out two new products: Expense Accrual Automation and Invoice AI. Accruals is designed to ease the process of closing month-end books with superior automation designed to automate reporting and chase down the information required to accurately produce expense accruals estimates.

We also recently launched Invoice AI, an advanced invoice-scanning solution which significantly improves the accuracy and speed of invoice data extraction using new, patent-pending AI technology designed to learn over time.

The feedback from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are thrilled to see how these offerings have already made an impact.

• 98% customer retention rate

• Over 2.28 million payments processed in 2024
• The SquareWorks Consulting team grew 89%, growing marketing and business development and doubling the R&D team

Recognition and Awards

We’re proud to share SquareWorks Consulting was honored with three awards this year across varied categories. SquareWorks won NetSuite’s Summer 2024 Alliance Partner Spotlight Awards under the Global Expansion category, for our efficient implementation of NetSuite in under three months for Petauri to consolidate their financials after numerous acquisitions. Petauri also implemented SquareWorks Automate to save hours of manual accounts payable work every week. SquareWorks also won the BIG Awards for Business Small Business of the Year award for Innovation. The highlight of the year was placing 218 on the Deloitte Fast 500, a list of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in North America. These awards have highlighted the incredible growth we have achieved by investing in solutions to guarantee the success of our customers.

This recognition validates our team’s dedication and motivates us to continue delivering value to our clients and users. As we work to elevate the role of finance and empower organizations to drive business innovation and growth, we start with the crucial work of upgrading the fundamentals of accounts payable. Improving the processes and data quality AP professionals rely on significantly cuts down on manual efforts and improves accuracy, making scalable growth easier to accomplish.

Key Partnerships and Collaborations

Throughout the year, we strengthened our relationships with key partners, including top Accounting Advisory Firms, Tier 1 NetSuite Alliance Partners, Independent Software Vendors and leading NetSuite Channel Partners. These collaborations have allowed us to exponentially grow our software sales and deliver even more value to our customers.

From the East West Partners case study:

With a small accounting team, having SquareWorks Automate platform and Advanced Check Printing solution has had a huge advantage for the company. Instead of scanning physical paper invoices and uploading them into NetSuite, they can now forward PDF invoices directly from their inbox into NetSuite. Leveraging SquareWorks’ OCR technology, they can auto-populate invoice details, saving time and reducing human error. The team also appreciates the side-by-side comparison feature, which allows them to quickly review and verify the accuracy of the extracted information.

A Year of Collaboration

This year we also had two all-company meetups, one in Denver and one in Chicago. As a 100% remote organization, these meetups allow our employees to get together in person, strategize, collaborate and spend meaningful time together to solidify the foundations of our organization while we go through this period of meaningful growth.

Looking Ahead to 2025

While we take time during the holiday season to rest and recharge, know that we are already looking forward to exciting developments planned for 2025.

Expect more product launches to improve your accounts payable and financial processes with the power of automation and AI technology. As we continue to invest in our offerings, we will continue to support our customers with the hands-on approach that has become synonymous with SquareWorks Consulting.
